Job description
Responsibilities Wellness Technicians assist in the daily operations of wellness services to observe and assist patients while participating in wellness activities. Provide program supervision/safety of exercise facility through direct supervision. Observe and assist patients in wellness activities. Be available to answer the immediate needs of patients. Ensure patient safety Follow established processes and procedures as applicable Document patient progress as needed Report observations of patient behaviors or activities as appropriate Use AIDET skills and provide respectful customer service skills to patients. Be available to answer their questions or direct them on who to speak to if they have complaints or concerns. Take appropriate action in emergencies, enforcement of regulations and expectations, crisis intervention, conflict resolution and prompt reporting of information to appropriate venue including 911 and leadership. Restock supplies and maintain well-kept areas Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Shallow Water Safety certification through the American Red Cross Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Exercise physiology Overview The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the largest nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States.
