We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Analyst II to join our team in Pomona, CA.

Summary

The Continuous Improvement Analyst II plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, driving process optimization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, this role requires a combination of data analysis, project management, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement, lead process optimization initiatives, and support business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other process improvement frameworks.

Responsibilities:
Process Improvement and Optimization

Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other industry-standard frameworks to drive operational excellence.

Conduct thorough data analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of waste in current processes.

Develop and implement process improvement strategies that reduce costs, improve quality, enhance productivity, and optimize workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Works with a high degree of independence and requires minimal supervision.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of inefficiencies.

Utilize statistical tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python) to perform data analysis and provide actionable insights.

Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports to track the progress of continuous improvement initiatives.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Project Management

Manage multiple continuous improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Lead project meetings, monitor progress, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, including project plans, process maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement

Drive a culture of continuous improvement by educating and mentoring staff at all levels of the organization on Lean Six Sigma principles and other process improvement methodologies.

Collaborate with department heads, managers, and frontline employees to gain buy-in and support for continuous improvement initiatives.

Communicate the benefits and impact of process improvements to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement across the organization.

Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.

Compliance and Best Practices

Ensure all process improvements are compliant with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to continuous improvement.

Provide recommendations for the adoption of new tools, software, and methodologies that can enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field highly desirable; professional training, certification and/or experience with Lean, Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement fundamentals.

Experience

3 or more years of progressive experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operational excellence roles. Industry experience a plus.

Proven experience in leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma projects. Black Belt certification preferred.

Demonstrated success in driving measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.

Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and the use of statistical tools.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).

Strong knowledge of industry best practices and trends in continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence.

Travel 6-8 days per month

Wage Range:

$90,500 - 108,600/annually, DOE
