One of our clients has an opening for an experienced Paralegal in their office! This firm works collaboratively to protect their client's interest and are well respected as national trial lawyers. If you want to expand your skillset with High Stakes litigation, this may be for you!

Job Responsibilities


  • Significant client contact - in person, by telephone and by e-mail
  • Routine telephone calls with opposing counsel, court clerks, court reporters, etc.
  • Scheduling consultations, appointments, depositions, etc.
  • Maintaining and updating attorney calendars
  • Preparing pleadings for court filing and service, e-service
  • Scheduling zoom meetings
  • Assist attorneys with cite checking
  • Draft client correspondence and various pleadings
  • Perform administrative support functions, such as opening mail, scanning documents, e-mailing documents to clients, maintaining client files, meeting with clients, etc.

Qualifications


  • Sufficient knowledge of litigation secretarial responsibilities
  • High integrity, hard worker with a "no task is too small" and "How Can I Help?" attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads with changing priorities
  • Excellent editing, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detailed and deadline-oriented
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required
  • Minimum of one year of litigation secretary experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
