Job description

Are you an experienced Project Manager interested in an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the education sector? Project Support Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of construction projects for school districts, ensuring full compliance with Division of the State Architect (DSA) regulations. This vital role involves overseeing the complete project closeout process and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Project Coordinators to plan, direct, and oversee the entire project closeout process, ensuring that goals are achieved within the specified schedule, scope, and budget while adhering to DSA regulations and other relevant building codes.

Drive project progress by managing internal teams and external partners while tracking milestones and metrics and making informed, data-driven decisions to ensure on-time delivery.

Develop a comprehensive view of the project closeout process and deliverables, while identifying potential risks and connections between projects to prevent issues.

Facilitate internal and external coordination with various stakeholders, including AORs, IORs, and DSA representatives to verify that projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Lead project meetings, technical reviews, and progress updates with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment at every stage of the project.

Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress and address any on-site issues.

Requirements

Project Management experience in the construction industry, with PMP certification considered a plus.

Understanding of building construction codes and regulations. Experience with DSA is highly preferred.

Proficient at plan reading.

Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn new software applications. Knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus.

Enthusiastic, self-driven individual with a passion for excellence.

Able to navigate changing project requirements and unexpected challenges.

Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative team environment with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000
