Community Guidelines Administrator
Prestigious San Diego based Community Association Management Company is currently seeking a highly intelligent, industrious, take-charge, Community Guidelines Administrator for portfolio-based communities in Chula Vista. The ideal candidate will be a positive, articulate, well organized, energetic, resourceful and detail-oriented individual with a "can do" attitude who is interested in cultivating thriving communities through relationship building. This creative person must enjoy working with people, be a great team player who possesses strong interpersonal skills and understand the importance of providing a high-level of service to our client. Flexibility and the ability to learn new skills is required.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, office management proficiency and computer skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word and Publisher) and be able to gracefully juggle many different time-critical tasks at the same time while working independently and with the management team.
Job responsibilities include:
Maintains a positive working relationship with the Community Association Manager, who is responsible for the overall Management functions of the Association.
Interacts and follows up with all Board and/or Committee members and homeowners regarding architectural and/or enforcement issues of the association.
Interacts and follows up with architectural consultants regarding architectural issues of the Association.
Maintains accurate and complete records as required to properly and effectively implement the Architectural Program. This includes homeowner computer files, violation reports and correspondence, hearing correspondence, plan submittals (pending, approved and denied), homeowner correspondence, tract maps noting status of each lot, etc.
Organizes and maintains all homeowner architectural and landscape plans in an orderly fashion.
Schedules, attends and performs all follow-up to drive-throughs of the Association.
Prepares for, attends, and performs all follow-up to Architectural Review Committee (ARC) meetings and Enforcement Review Committee (ERC) meetings as designated by Association requirements.
Attends Board of Directors meetings as required.
Prepares and distributes monthly ARC and/or ERC agenda packets.
Completes and maintains current reference notebooks containing all necessary information to properly and effectively support the Architectural Program for the Association.
Any and all other assignments as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors or Management.
Conducts and/or participates in committee orientations.
Utilizes technology as applicable to perform job functions and publish communications to the membership.
Accept and review all architectural plan submittals.
Meet with homeowners as required to review plans.
Other duties may from time to time be required.
Qualifications:

Have some experience in property management and/or or closely related field.
Has customer service experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer service skills
Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize daily workload
Be able to handle the stress and pressure of the position.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Access and Excel at an intermediate level.
Must have use of a vehicle; possess current driver's license and state-mandated vehicle insurance.
Have the ability to effectively communicate with the Board, vendors and clients, verbally and through written correspondence.
Must be resourceful and a creative problem solver.
Must be detail oriented. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
Be able to hear in order to receive telephone calls and voice mail messages.
Pay and Benefits:
$21.00 to $25.00, depending on education and experience.
