Requisition #: 558 Job Title: Test Engineer Location: 2001 Brainard Rd., Fort Huachuca, Arizona85635 Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret Required Certification(s): • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. SUMMARY Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. JITC's service requirements are categorized in the following areas: T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, and Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements. TEC Services are provided to DoD Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate and participate in Cybersecurity meetings for Unified Capabilities Testing • Identify applicable Cybersecurity Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) testing requirements for Unified Capabilities testing for specific Systems Under Test • Conduct Internet Protocol Vulnerability (IPV) Scans with NESSUS, NMAP etc. vulnerability scanner tools. • Assist in development of Cybersecurity test plans and procedures • Analyze and organize raw test data from Unified Capabilities Cybersecurity testing • Create daily activity reports during test events. • Assist in the development of Cybersecurity test reports • Provide information and data analysis to senior Unified Capabilities Test Analysts • Provide technical support to vendors during test • Coordinate with designated Government Test Officers on activities, schedules, resource requirements, or issues affecting UC product testing • Participate in and support Initial Contact Meetings (ICMs) • Arrange for needed UC Test Facility support capabilities • Review and provide feedback on customer provided Information Assurance Accreditation Reports (IAARs) and other product information submitted for the UCCO Approved Products List Integrated Tracking System (APLITS) • Provide administrative task support such as Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Weekly Status Reports (WARs) and meeting minutes. • Must be DoD 8570 compliant, at minimum Security + • Have practical and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, advanced level knowledge MS Excel and MS Project applications. • Quality interpersonal skills • Must be able to multitask and be organized • Quality oral and written communication skills • Knowledge and experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Implementation Guides (STIGs), IPV scanning using NESSUS and NMAP scanning tools, security controls and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes • Understanding of the Unified Capabilities Requirements SUPERVISORY DUTIES • No QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Education, Background, and Years of Experience • Requires a Master's degree and at least 2 years of experience; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; or 12 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Master's degree. Additional certifications (other than those required for the position) in the area of specialization may be substituted for experience but varies by certification. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties. Preferred Skills • N/A WORKING CONDITIONS Environmental Conditions • Government site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Strength Demands • Light - 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
