Description SAIC is hiring a Senior User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) Developer for the Cloud One Common Computing Environment (CCE) program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Cloud One is the preeminent enterprise cloud available to the DoD and managed by the Air Force. A multi-cloud, multi-vendor ecosystem, Cloud One is a one-stop shop for DoD mission application owners that require a full array of commercial cloud services, delivering speed, scale and security with cutting-edge technologies, approaches and solutions for cloud computing. This position is 100% remote What to Expect: As a Senior UX/UI Developer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our systems. Reporting directly to our (can be Lead Engineer, Lead Product Manager, Lead XM, Lead CXO), you will be responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and modern interfaces that prioritize user needs and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: User-Centric Design: Develop and implement a strategic vision for user interface design, ensuring that all interactions are customer-centric and aligned with mission outcomes Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to design and refine system interfaces that meet both customer and internal needs Design Development: Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications to guide development, ensuring that designs are executed accurately and efficiently User Research & Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights, iterating on designs based on findings to enhance user experience Design Guidelines: Own the creation and maintenance of design guidelines, templates, and style guides to ensure consistency across all interfaces Industry Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to the design process to ensure innovative and effective solutions Graphic Design & Brand Cohesion : Leverage graphic design skills to enhance visual elements while ensuring all designs align with our brand identity, contributing to a polished and professional user interface Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Design, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field desired Minimum 7 years' experience in UX/UI design, product design, and/or enterprise application fields or relevant customer-facing job roles Required Clearance: Interim Secret level clearance required to start with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance per the contract requirements US citizenship required Desired Certification: Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP) Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) Certifications Google UX Design Professional Certificate Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Figma Certification Scrum Master Certification (CSM) Human-Computer Interaction Certification Design Thinking Certifications Security + Required Skills: Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma (Xena) Experience in UI/UX associated with cloud-based projects Experience working on a DoD or other Federal Government environments Proven experiences in user research, usability testing and design thinking Strong visual design skills with a focus on clean, modern design Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment Relevant industry certifications desirable Desired Skills: Basic understanding of cloud technologies What You Bring: A strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design work and thought process Proven experience in user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a remote team environment Familiarity with current design tools and technologies Graphic design experience a plus Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
