Mission: Our system and software developers work collaboratively to build robust, field-deployable systems in support of mission users worldwide. Clearance: Minimum active Secret clearance with ability to hold up to TS/SCI Polygraph clearance. US Citizenship is required. Location/Flexibility: Chantilly, VA (onsite) with remote flexibility 3 days per week. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems Determines computer user needs Analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls Prepares operating instructions Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems Ensures software standards are met Supports the network contractor on integration issues and maximizing system performance to include diagnostics and resolution. Evaluates system performance and recommends improvements to address field issues and plan for long-term viability of system while minimizing cost Qualifications: 6+ years of software/system development Strong Bash scripting experience Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.
