Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Audit support will be a major responsibility of the Senior Accountant role
  • Senior Accountant will be responsible for monthly close process
  • Senior Accountant will support SVP, Operations & Finance and VP, Finance - will be managing projects but not people
  • Senior Accountant will assist in preparing 24 month budget
  • Senior Accountant will complete financial statement prep
  • Senior Accountant will be responsible for reconciliations
  • Senior Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of accounting experience
  • CRM experience is required (Our client utilizes NetForum. Previous NetForum experience is a plus. Must have experience using a CRM.) - The majority of the billing is done in the CRM
  • Audit prep or audit experience required
  • Excel - keyboard shortcuts, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's
  • Degree is a plus but NOT required
  • Previous nonprofit accounting experience is preferred (understanding that membership dues don't go on accounts receivable) everything else can be picked up
  • QuickBooks is a plus as long as someone has used another accounting system

  • Ask questions for clarification if have a question about what should be prioritized
