Work you'll do The Data Engineer will provide technical data management support and to ensure structured and unstructured data fits into a format and schema that permits data transfer. The team will acquire, exploit and analyze data associated to dark web forums, markets, messaging services, social news, blogs and boards in near-real time fashion, and push data to a cloud-based landing zone. The work will also involve coordination with extensive data vendors to expand resources for use with other opportunities. Our Cyber Application Security team advises federal clients on integrating security activities throughout the software development lifecycle to enable the design, build, and deployment of secure applications. Our team focuses on concept and requirements, design and development, verification, production and maintenance, and retirement. Qualifications Required: Minimum BA/BS Degree 5+ years of understanding of data management, knowledge of the use of various databases and DBMS, extensive understanding of data management Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required Ability to travel 5-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Preferred: o Experience integrating and fusing data of various sources to meet intelligence objectives o Ability to set up, maintain, and operate solutions that provide uninterrupted service for constant data needs o Experience configuring numerous cloud-based databases and services for rapid (near simultaneous) ingestion, ETL, transmission and querying of data o Knowledge on the integration of public and private AI/ML models into workflows o Knowledge of NLP models, NER and ER, and CNN to assist in OSINT processing o Ability to develop custom alerts and data architectures for machine learning o Experience making data useful from various data origins
