Description

Materials Scientist:

  • Develop and refine specifications for existing and new materials.
  • Implement new material products and technologies from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve technical body preparation.
  • Troubleshoot material quality issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support lean and 5S practices for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate processes for producing new materials.
  • Document and implement material technology transfers.
  • Conduct raw material testing and analysis.
  • Mentor and supervise team members.
  • Participate in engineering and administrative projects as needed.

Profile

Materials Scientist:

  • CERAMICS
  • Bachelor's degree in Ceramics or Materials Science.
  • Proficiency in raw material testing and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Experience with ceramic compositions and sintering processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relational databases.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Willingness to embrace lean practices and continuous improvement.
