As the Senior Engineer, Financial Systems, you will Design and develop applications to provide quality solutions to business teams. On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Design and develop applications to provide quality solutions to business teams.
• Provide operational support for all the financial systems and related applications.
• Identify, research, resolve and document technical issues with existing Oracle applications.
• Coordinate ERP and third-party software system installation and monitor system performance.
• Resolve ERP and database issues by working with functional users, technical staff and extended support organizations.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, provide new functionality, adapt for new integrations or improve performance.
• Monitor and optimize system performance.
• Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues and defects.
• Collaborate with QA tocreate test plans. Work with users on business issues and coordinate changes.
• Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from North Richland Hills, TX.Will require physical presence at worksite in North Richland Hills, TX at least several days a week.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Requires two (2) years of experience as Oracle EBS Developer or related occupation.
• Experience must include two (2) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
• • Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and IT solutions development
  • Experience in at least 3 of the Oracle finance/Supply Chain R12 Modules (AR/AP/GL/FA/IPROC/PA/AME/Cash Management)
  • PL/SQL/XML publisher/APEX/SOA components and one or more programming or scripting languages
  • Query tools (PL/SQL, Toad, SQL Plus)
  • IT software development life cycle methodologies and processes
