Director of Network Engineering
A Financial Services company is seeking to hire a Director of Network Engineering that will oversee an organization responsible for design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of all network infrastructure systems and equipment. This position will provide input for architectural planning, design and implementation of all networking solutions within both the Data Centers and remote locations, as well as working with internal and external partners for project planning, cost analysis and implementation of proposed solutions. Additionally, this position will work on projects as a team member or individual and function independently or under direction of senior management.
LOCATION: Irving, TX 75063 / ( Primarily Remote )
Required to be in the office two times a month for collaboration working sessions.
POSITION: Direct Hire
PAY RANGE: 190k plus 25% Annual Bonus

Job Duties
Manages the Network Team's project prioritization and resource allocation to ensure that all project deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Defines Network Strategies and Roadmap for Network Team including design, implementation and ongoing management of Cisco environment, including LAN, WAN and Wireless Environments.
Creation of all Network maintenance schedules for all networking hardware, including but not limited to switches, routers, load balancers, etc.
Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure consistent network provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance, data protection, and quality of service.
Develops Network infrastructure installation procedures to ensure successful integration of systems hardware/software.
Develops and recommends technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levels.
Ensures compliance with policies & procedures, safety, state and federal laws, regulations and standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
College Degree or equivalent in a job-related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
Eight (8) + years of related experience, three (3) + years of management experience.
Knowledge of implementing CISCO routers/switches.
Experience with managing and configuration of firewalls, firewall rules and maintenance, etc. Palo Alto preferred.
Experience designing, integrating and supporting wide area networks with 10+ remote locations.
Strong experience with Cloud Technologies, migrations and connectivity for Azure, AWS or Google
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, documentation and collaborative skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio
High attention to detail; policy and procedure reviewing and writing
