Job Title: Tax Analyst

Location- Central Houston

Our centrally-located, publicly traded Oil & Gas client is looking to add an experience professional to its Tax Group. After some major acquisitions a new tax group is being formed here in the Houston office to focus on Federal Income Tax. This role will directly support the Tax Manager within a group of seven.

Must Have Highlights:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-3 years of Tax related experienced
• Federal and state corporate taxation

Overview of the Tax Analyst role:

• Prepare federal and state corporate income tax returns
• Prepare federal and state partnership returns
• Prepare and review of depreciation reports used for return filings and forecasts;
• Assist with federal tax audits;
• Prepare federal and state quarterly estimated tax installments

Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Analyst:

• CPA Certification
• SAP Experience
• FERC Regulatory reporting
