Our work depends on you joining our team to apply your experience in the maintenance/troubleshooting of VTC electronic systems. HOW A VIDEO TELECONFERENCING (VTC) TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems and related peripheral hardware.
• Provides incident response and performs customer support tasks • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to systems and operations
• Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems
• Provides installation of and troubleshooting support for systems applications and related peripheral hardware WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience • Required Technical Skills: Intermediate "hands on" work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting / maintenance of communications systems
• Security Clearance Level: Secret
• Required Skills & Abilities: Maintenance/troubleshooting of VTC systems as specified in the task order (see below) • Location: On Customer Site

• Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Bridge Technician II (CLC 47) CERTIFICATIONS: Must meet the certification requirement stated on DoD directive 8570, SPIN-C, and individual task order. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Intermediate "hands on" work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of VTC electronic systems or equipment as specified in the task order to include the following: • Inverse Multiplexing Devices (i.e., Adtran devices) • Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) Software • Tandberg devices (Codecs, Desktops, Bridges including Codian Products, etc.) • Cisco Network Enterprise Devices (VCS-Control, VCS-Expressway, Gatekeeper, Border Controller) • Cisco Multipoint Control Units/Bridges (MPS800, MSE8000, Codian 45XX series, and peripherals) • Cisco Conference Room (CR) Codecs (All in product line to include C-Series and MXP systems) • Cisco Desktops (All in product line to include EX series and MXP systems) • Cisco Codian ISDN Gateways 3200 series • Cisco Codian IP Gateways 3500 series • Media converters (Fiber to LAN) • EXTRON components • AMX components • AUTOPATCH components • QUADVIEW components • CRESTRON components • CRESTRON and AMX Touch panel interfaces and associated software • Audio subsystems (Amplifiers, mixers, microphone and speaker systems) • Media devices (e.g. DVD players, VCRs, etc.) • Multimedia Display (e.g. Projectors, LCD, Plasma, LED displays, etc) Work Requirements Years of Experience 1 + years of related experience may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree Certification Travel Required Less than 10% Citizenship U.S. Citizenship Required Salary and Benefit Information The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.97 - $23.81. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
