Job description

Job Description: The Program Project Manager will lead the support team to ensure, enact, and validate project execution in accordance with Department of Navy requirements and within time constraints. The Program Project Manager will provide project scheduling, resource loading, on-site personnel management, partnering with Government Project Managers to ensure all key activities and actions are captured, scheduled, and risk identified and mitigated. Plan and direct tasks, as well as perform on-site supervision of subordinates when required. Determine resource requirements and cost. Prepare project schedules, including resource loading, dependencies, and critical path analysis. Monitor progress of task and prepare progress reports. Communicate with all levels of management both orally and in writing. Partner with Government Project Managers to ensure all key activities and actions are captured, schedule, and risks identified are mitigated. Validate and verify work products and services of subordinates meets with expectations and requirements. Secret Security Clearance Required Skills and Experiences: A DoD8570.01-m IAM 3certification is required and satisfied by one of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC Required CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, or GCIH Ten (10) years of experience Program/Project management, experience in the performance of project management, contract and sub-contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, progress tracking, and planning related to U.S. Navy IT Programs, HM&E systems onboard U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier programs and projects. Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from and accredited university and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. A minimum of 10 years experience. Must be a U.S. citizen.
