Full service photography department looking for experienced Photographer/Videographer Requirements 10 years of experience in photography and videography. Primary duties range from but are not limited to photographing equipment, shooting headshots, group shots, and events, often photographing high-ranking military personnel and politicians. Some videography and video editing of event recordings. Must have organizational skills and work within our cataloging system. Due to the nature of the position this is largely an on-site position. Possibility of some limited travel. May on occasion film or photograph from a boat. No equipment necessary. Must be good with people. Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain appropriate DoD clearances. • Experience: - Proven experience as a photographer and/or videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work - Proficiency in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices - Solid understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling techniques - Knowledge of Adobe Creative Software. - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and collaboration skill Job Requirements Responsibilities: • Will operate and maintain a variety of analog and digital video cameras and video editing equipment • Operate computers and relevant systems and software; creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective visual form • Work with clients and talent to be comfortable in front of the camera • Research solutions and make technical decisions • Communicate effectively with individuals and groups • Write and speak clearly, concisely and effectively meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities • Safety practices related to photography Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree, MFA or equivalent digital media experience Other Requirements: Must be able to successfully obtain an Active Security Clearance - Secret Level. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
