Construction Project Manager
11+Month Contract
West Chester, PA or Spring House, PA (onsite)
Potential to convert to perm

Monitor construction projects for clients, ensuring direct accountability for project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand architectural drawings; knowledge in leases, contracts, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with the entitlement/permitting process, construction delivery methods, general building codes, and various building types/systems.
• Review contractors' direct cost payment requisitions, budget status, subcontracts, bonds/subcontractor default insurance, change orders, and Developer s monthly job cost reports.
• Prepare project status reports and recommend the release of construction funds.
• Review contract drawings and specifications for completeness and general compliance with commonly accepted architectural/engineering best practices.
• Analyze the Developer s direct and indirect cost budgets, coordinate with the Cost Advisory group for parameter estimates, spot quantity take-offs, and review supporting documentation.
• Review terms of construction agreements, subcontracts, design agreements, building loan agreements, and qualification statements of contractors and architects.
• Comment on construction and disbursement schedules, zoning approvals, certified surveys, building permits, utility company approval letters, soil and foundation engineering reports, and designer s certification of code and ADA compliance.
• Prepare construction risk assessment reports.
• Provide informal technical guidance or training to coworkers; may lead project teams or supervise assignments of lower-level employees.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in construction administration, architecture, engineering, or similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
