• The Staff Accountant reports to the VP of Finance and is responsible for overseeing activities related to Month-end Close, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and financial reporting of performance to the parent company.

Accounting Specialist / Staff Accountant Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up new vendors.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Process daily revenue, check inventory exceptions, and post entries.
• Handle month-end closing and prepare financial statements.
• May assist with Sales & Use tax accounts by generating reports to confirm payments.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience in retail or product sales is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software is beneficial.
