Senior Consultant This position requires an active MBI clearance or the ability to obtain an MBI clearance. Cherokee Nation Solutions Link is seeking a talented Senior Consultant, Business Strategy and Transformation to join our team in the Washington, DC area. This is a client-facing role where you will have the opportunity to lead high-profile workstreams, manage client engagements, and oversee the creation of deliverables from inception to completion. You will be working with a federal agency undergoing enterprise-wide change, offering a unique chance to engage with senior executives and influence significant transformation initiatives aimed at transforming federal client systems and ways of working. You will collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to understand the unique challenges across the enterprise and lead the execution of measurable change management activities. Ideally, you will bring a consultative approach and proven track record of successfully managing comparable complex initiatives and driving strategic change management activities while delivering high quality deliverables. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Consultant: Pay commensurate with experience. Senior Consultant Responsibilities Include: Drive the delivery of high-quality advisory and strategic change management implementation services to clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client objectives. Collaborate strategically with partners, SME, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative change/adoption solutions, address complex business challenges and align with organizational priorities. Conduct research, analyze data, and develop strategic recommendations to increase adoption of new business processes, technology and ways of working. Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to assess current processes and identify inefficiencies. Lead workstreams and manage client engagements, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Oversee workstreams, coordinating efforts to ensure timely and successful project completion. Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications. Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations, mitigate risks and adhere to agreed-upon timelines and budgets. Oversee the creation of deliverables such as reports, presentations, best practices, change management plans, and communications plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations. Develop high-quality deliverables, including detailed reports, visual presentations, change strategy roadmaps, stakeholder mapping, and change impacts documentation. Design change management and communications plans to increase adoption and leverage stakeholder support (e.g., Sponsorship Coalition, Change Network). Facilitate stakeholder engagement and support project management activities across various transformation and change management initiatives. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals. Support project management activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to drive consensus and advance project objectives. Apply strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges faced by clients. Utilize strategic thinking and analytical skills to address complex business problems. Develop innovative solutions that drive organizational improvements and achieve client objectives. Continuously refine and adapt strategies based on evolving client needs and industry trends. Serve as a facilitator, working directly with clients to guide and implement strategic initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on strategic initiatives and transformation efforts. Facilitate the implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organizational goals. Provide ongoing support and expertise to clients throughout the project lifecycle. Lead/support a small delivery team to service client needs effectively. Oversee and mentor junior consultants and analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Coordinate team activities and provide direction to achieve project milestones and objectives. Foster a collaborative and psychologically safe team environment, encouraging professional growth and development. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Senior Consultant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. 6-8 years of consulting experience, preferably in a federal setting, in one of more of the following: Organizational Development, Human Capital, Workforce Design, Organizational Culture and/or Psychology, Talent Management, Change Management. Prior experience in a senior change management role. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Exceptional ability to think strategically and quickly build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams. Proven track record exceling in agile environments leading business process improvement, digital transformation, and change management efforts. Ability to analyze complex data, trends, and information to derive insights and develop practical, strategic recommendations. High EQ/EI with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal. Must be able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance. Preferred qualifications: Prior experience in top-tier management consulting, strategy consulting, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with the IRS is highly preferred.
