Logistics Specialist:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize logistics operations. You'll ensure timely shipments, coordinate with suppliers and carriers, and maintain inventory accuracy to support smooth and cost-efficient delivery.



Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist:

  • Plan and schedule transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure service quality and resolve any logistical challenges.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and preventing shortages or overstock.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulations and company policies.


Qualifications of the Logistics Specialist:

  • 2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Advanced excel skills required, including pivot tables and vlookups
  • Proficient in logistics software with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of laws, logistics regulations, and ISO requirements
