We are excited to be partnered with a growing national legal services company seeking a Tax Manager to join their accounting department. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities within the organization. This is a full-time on-site position with an annual salary starting at $110,000.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns
• Manage property tax, sales tax, and use tax filings and compliance
• Calculate and manage partners' quarterly nonresident state taxes
• Provide partners with accurate and timely tax information and reports
• Review and provide necessary documentation and information to external tax preparers
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position
• Manage and coordinate tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification is required
• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and compliance preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in Excel
