Job description

Mayvin is seeking a highly qualified Signals Intelligent (SI) Subject Matter Expert to provide expertise or guidance across C4ISR, Radio Wave Propagation, Information Operations (IO), Computer Network Operations (CNO), Electronic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), computer networks, GPS, and cellular telephone networks in support of US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at Ft. Liberty, NC. This role is pivotal in driving the implementation of new technologies while working closely with special operations forces (SOF). Must be a US Citizen. Must have an active Top Secret Clearance Responsibilities : Advise on product selection, architecture, and system design for cutting-edge defense technologies. Develop and guide system engineering efforts related to intelligence systems, security, and related technical and analytical disciplines. Ensure reliability, maintainability, and life cycle cost management are factored into all phases of project execution. Lead project management activities across testing, evaluation, and system design, ensuring timely project completion within scope and budget. Perform research to determine a solution, including soliciting white papers, informational slick sheets, and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) to inform government decision-making. Oversee mechanical engineering tasks related to system compatibility, component testing, and equipment integration. Manage and perform government acceptance testing, operational check testing, and lab-based performance analysis for various communications and electronic warfare systems. Direct and conduct field testing for government end users, ensuring systems meet operational standards. • Produce test reports, system analysis reports, and technical documentation, delivering clear results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Interface directly with combatant commands, respond to feedback and incorporate operational needs into future system designs. Provide training on setup, integration, and operation of new capabilities, ensuring combat units are prepared to effectively deploy systems in field operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study 10+ years of experience in Signals Intelligence, particularly supporting special operations. Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of intelligence systems and security protocols relevant to USSOCOM operations. Project management expertise, especially in technical fields related to military and defense technologies. Proficiency in conducting and managing various testing phases, including mechanical and system-level evaluations. Experience writing technical reports, including system analysis and performance documentation. Demonstrated ability to work directly with combatant commands, understanding their operational requirements and providing solutions. Familiarity with system integration and training methodologies, especially in operational environments. Background in mechanical or systems engineering, with a focus on testing and evaluation.
