Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join one of our largest clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage their time effectively. The successful candidate will take initiative and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their work.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with the timely and accurate reporting of all financial information received from subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates.

Ensure that all financial reports required by executive management and regulatory bodies are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.

Oversee the month-end close process and financial reporting for North America's holding companies.

Participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.

Collaborate closely with North America's group companies to ensure the accurate completion of quarterly and year-end reporting.

Review financial reporting packages before submission to the group.

Assist with the completion of other group reporting requirements for the North America division, including internal audit updates, quarterly reporting, year-end reporting, and other SEC filing requirements.

Help oversee compliance with company policies, including those related to sustainability, legal reporting, and anti-trust compliance.

Perform other ad hoc job duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Public Accounting experience

Strong understanding of technical accounting, including debits and credits.

High proficiency in Excel, including h/VLOOKUP's and pivot tables (macros not required).
