Job description

Job Title: Supply Chain Management Analyst

Job Summary: The Supply Chain Management Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for managing supply/demand, conducting analytics, and supporting initiatives within the Supply Chain organization. This role focuses on developing and reporting metrics to optimize processes and ensure effective use of supply chain systems. The Analyst will also perform audits and provide reports to management.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Support efforts to enhance the customer experience.

Track and maintain critical supply chain metrics, including supply from internal/external sources and inbound/outbound materials management.

Prepare and present metrics for executive leadership.

Conduct financial and operational analysis tailored to the needs of the Supply Chain team.

Develop and maintain standard formats, templates, and operating procedures.

Serve as a point of contact for Supply Chain field operations.

Identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.

Lead and manage projects focused on refining or implementing supply chain management tools.

Provide operational support for the development and implementation of supply chain processes and practices.

Collaborate with accounting/finance teams on inventory matters.

Perform additional duties to support organizational goals as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals and concepts.

Experience in planning and forecasting.

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to gather requirements and deliver results efficiently.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Competency in problem-solving, data analysis, and drawing valid conclusions.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.

Related Work Experience:

3-4 years of experience in business analysis, planning, and reporting.

Experience preparing reconciliations of differing data sets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:

Familiarity with cable systems and operations.

Related Work Experience:

Experience with PeopleSoft inventory or other ERP systems, such as SAP.
