The Area Plant Administrator role is based in Bunnlevel, NC and reports directly to the Plant Manager.

What you'll get to do

Process vendor invoices and purchase orders

Provide administrative support for plant management

Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics

Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours

Purchase parts and safety supplies

Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports

Scale operation for weighing company, customer, and 3rd party trucks

Process personnel changes and maintain files

Timekeeping in Kronos

Works closely with Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, Engineering Personnel, Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisors and Maintenance Leads.

Essential Experience and Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Should have good written and verbal communications skills and have demonstrated the ability to be approachable and tactful.

Strong leadership & organizational skills.

Experience in SAP is preferred.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of any organization.

Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals.

Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.

Preferred Experience and Skill s

SAP & Microsoft Office programs.

Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping

Construction materials industry experience.

Work Environment

Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
