Job description

This position will manage the monthly close financial reporting and related analysis processes for Montefiore Faculty Practice Group (FPG) ;Montefiore Medical Group (MMG); Montefiore Einstein Advance Care (MEAC); Hudson River Medical Practice (HRMP) and Specialty Surgeons of Connecticut (SSCT). Manage the preparation of all monthly financial reports and related analysis. Liason with the FPG Administative team, Clinical Unified Administrators (including Finance Directors and Managers) and Professional Billing service during the close process . Provide Clinical Department Financial Statement and Payroll training needed via STRATA reporting to as mentioned.

Manage a team of two accountants (Senior and Staff) responsible for Financial Reporting and Analysis .This position manages and reviews the work of various levels of accountants and data analysts. The Manager will address monthly deadlines timely and a variety of accounting processes such as general ledger analysis, internal financial statement package preparation, consolidated reporting, year-end audit preparation, and assisting with budgeting, forecasts, and other ad hoc projects. Ability to work with mutliple reporting tools Infor (G/L); STRATA (Financial and Budget Reporting); SAPHCM (Payroll and HR reporting). Assist the Budget Department and Clinical Areas with questions related to preparation of the Annual Operating Budgets.

EDUCATION/SKILLS:

Associates Degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

CPA Preferred. MBA helpful but not required.

Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word

Knowledge and experience with Infor; STRATA; EPIC (EPIC Cubes), SAPHCM or other large automated accounting software systems preferred
