As the Director Data Solutions - Integrations, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data engineering and integration solutions managing the Americas data hub. You will lead a team of talented engineers, ensuring the seamless integration of data across various systems and platforms. Your role will be pivotal in driving our data strategy and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our global data infrastructure and initiatives.

This is a remote role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central time zones

The successful candidate will:

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and integration specialists

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Application teams and teams in other regions, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs, timing, and budget

Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance

Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and infrastructure

Utilize Microsoft Azure tools and technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, and data modeling to enhance data integration and processing

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and integration

Is this the right opportunity for you? We are looking for candidates that have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in data engineering, master data, and with a strong focus on data integration

Balance of programming, ETL/ELT, and architecture

Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and processes, including Azure Data Factory, Informatica Cloud, IBM Sterling, etc.

Experience with API management, Service Bus, and Event Hubs

Excellent leadership, team management skills, project/portfolio management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills - able to simplify complex situations

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Oracle, Informatica)

Experience with monitoring tools, alerting, automation, etc.

Knowledge of data governance, master data management, data modeling, and security best practices

Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies

Proficiency in data modeling techniques and tools

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Requirement - 7 years
Basic Functional Requirement - 7 years of distribution and procurement experience including current systems and process flows related to order catalogs, implementation and opportunity analysis
