Commercial Lines Account Manager

Position: Commercial Lines Team Manager

Type: Full-Time

Proven success in leading and managing a Commercial Lines Team

Oversees the renewal process to ensure policies are renewed and invoiced timely within required standards

Monitors and assesses CSR workloads in order to proactively identify issues and implement resolutions when needed

Coaches CL CSRs to achieve their KPI (key production indicator) goals in order to meet or exceed growth expectations

Conducts routine quality audit checks to ensure adherence to service standards and workflow best practices

Manages New Business written through Producers

Meets with clients to build relationships; responsible for servicing a BOB for top clients/accounts

High Competency in Commercial Lines Coverage & NJ/NY insurance markets

High Proficiency in evaluating risk and identifying coverage gaps

Prior experience and competency with real estate development and/or construction accounts a plus

P & C License required

Available to work in-office 4 to 5 days a week, primarily NJ (Manhattan 2-4 days a month)

Salary Range: $150k to $200k

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:


  • 5 years experience in Commercial Property & Casualty; Large Commercial experience a Plus
  • High Competency in Commercial Lines coverages and NY/NJ Market
  • Prior Experience successfully leading a commercial lines team preferred
  • Proficient with computer technology including Microsoft products
  • Proficient with Agency Management System; EPIC experience a plus
  • Ability to concentrate in a fast paced, high-volume environment with high accuracy is required
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize workflow effectively in order to meet deadlines
