Director of Engineering/Digital Platform Implementation

Fast growing HR digital marketplace is seeking a visionary leader to drive their world class technology platform forward in a player/coach role. In this pivotal role, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences to a national network of HR service providers. Your expertise and strategic leadership will be pivotal in scaling our marketplace to new heights.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Design/Develop: Hands-on platform architecture design and development of robust technology solutions to power our marketplace.

Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a talented team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Integration and Security: Oversee the integration of systems and data, ensuring seamless operations and robust security measures to protect our marketplace and user data.

Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle, from conception to implementation, including scope management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Platform Management: Manage and optimize our marketplace platform, including sandboxes, APIs, and updates to drive efficiency, scalability, and performance.

Business Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and industry trends.

Requirements:

Proven experience leading technology teams in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment.

7+ years of experience designing and building scalable digital platforms that deliver exceptional end user experiences.

Recent, hands on experience with API integration, software architecture and development.

In-depth knowledge of, and experience with, the design, development and delivery of software architecture in an Agile environment.

Hands on coding experience with Java and/or Python.

Experience building and supporting low-code digital platforms (LCDP).

Proven experience managing application/platform security including design, testing, monitoring, and automation, to prevent threats and vulnerabilities.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience recruiting, hiring, building and managing robust technical teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex challenges.

A passion for technology and a desire to build exceptional digital platforms for the B2B and B2C market.

Experience building world class digital platforms for HR, PEO, or Benefits providers.

Annual base salary: $150,000. to $175,000.
