Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a Private Equity backed Service company to identify a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This newly created position will play an integral role in establishing the accounting function to help scale the company.

• The Growth: Profitable company grew 25% last year and is forecasted to grow another 20-25% this year.
• Opportunity: As the right hand to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will help build out the accounting function to support the run rate of the company.

The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform detailed financial analysis to assess company performance and provide insights to the Controller.
• Manage daily accounting tasks, including AP/AR, general ledger, and payroll processing.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Collaborate on budget preparation and monitoring, analyzing variances and recommending improvements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, facilitate audits, and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, focusing on general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Proficiency NetSuite preferred
• Experience with process improvement and automation highly preferred.
