About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing ground-up commercial construction projects with budgets of $5 million and above. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction through project closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time completion.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projects valued at $5M .
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of project plans.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to specifications.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and hold regular meetings to discuss project updates and address issues.
  • Review construction documents, RFI's, and change orders, providing direction as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation and project closeout procedures are followed.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in ground-up commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $5 million or more.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Procore.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required).
  • Familiarity with LEED or other sustainable building practices.
