Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities - Field Service Engineer

  • Actively diagnose, repair, and test complex machines and instrumentation.
  • Commission intricate motion systems and ensure equipment integrity.
  • Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, and replace worn parts.
  • Install repaired equipment and replace parts at customer sites including industrial and military facilities.

Qualifications/Requirements for Field Service Engineer

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and building robotic systems and machines; familiarity with troubleshooting motors, motion control devices, and amplifiers.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred (comparable experience will be considered instead of an engineering degree).
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with a variety of testing and measurement instruments.
  • Familiarity with motion control devices, motors, and amplifiers.
  • Experience with Delta Tau and/or Parker servo motors is a plus
  • Up to 50% travel - nationally and internationally
