Job description

As a CNC Programming Engineer, you will design and implement fixturing and programs for new products, facilitating a seamless transition to production. You will also focus on refining and enhancing current products and processes.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create designs and specifications for fixtures and gauges using SolidWorks.
  • Oversee the procurement of tools and materials and develop comprehensive process and tool sheets.
  • Program and modify CNC toolpaths using Esprit CAM software.
  • Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
  • Test and validate new CNC programs on multi-axis machines to ensure precision and effectiveness.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specializing in CNC operations with proficiency in Esprit CAM.
  • Expertise in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and CAM programming.
  • Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing and ASME Y14.5 M-2009.
  • Experience in aerospace, firearms, or medical manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Skilled at interpreting prints, understanding dimensions, and prototyping for optimal functionality and production readiness.
  • Degree preferred but not required if exceptional experience is demonstrated.
