Job description

PLC Programmer (ONSITE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client in Georgetown, KY.

Pay Rate: $40/hr

ONSITE

What You'll Be Doing:

• Online Robot Programming.
• Sealer, UBC, and Dampening.
• Run trials and adjust parameters.
• Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards.
• Primer, Base, and Clear.
• Run trials and adjust parameters.
• Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards.
• Electrical Drawing Review.
• Review electrical drawings for new paint equipment installations.
• Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials.
• Setting up new paint equipment.
• Calibrating systems to function as designed.
• Prepare and Confirm New Paint Equipment at Vendor Sites.
• Test functionality of new paint equipment.
• Confirm equipment operation and all safety devices function as designed.
• Create Hand Over Documents.
• Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMC's.
• Willingness to Travel:
• Supports new model Paint Seibi projects in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Required:

• This position does require that the candidate is available for OT and weekend work
• Must be available to travel up to 25% of the time mostly domestic/local and 5% internationally (Mexico and Japan) therefore a passport will be required
• PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Omron, Toyopuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens)
• 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
• Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
