Senior Accountant - East Metro Atlanta

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Accountant and play a crucial role in managing the daily accounting functions. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Inventory costing, general ledger and expense reporting.

This role ensures timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, compliance with tax authorities, internal controls and accounting standards, and assists with reporting and budgeting.

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), inventory costing, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while adhering to internal controls and accounting standards.
• Track and analyze SG&A and COGS expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review, approve, and onboard new vendors and clients in line with company policies.
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities, including financial statement preparation and account analysis.
• Work closely with other departments and align accounting processes with business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in NetSuite preferred; strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills required.
• Experience with Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is a plus.
