Learn more about our purpose and how you can bring it to life as an Ameris Bank teammate. The nCino Engineer is responsible for organizing, modifying, and supporting nCino. Configures the UI, Routes, Approval Processes, and feature access. Coordinates the installation of release and feature packages with our nCino support rep. Designs, modifies, and implements reports, dashboards, and other items as needed. Ability to write code for moderate enhancements or to correct defects. Works directly with end- users to coach and teach how to best use and utilize systems. Supports other technology initiatives as needed and completes documentation that supports the functionality being developed. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: Manages the installation of nCino feature and release packages and configures settings to meet business requirements for Loan Origination. Enhances operational efficiency of loan systems by reviewing processes and determining process improvements through nCino. Develops the integration of other external business apps with nCino including core banking systems and financial apps. Assists with maintaining, installing, and deploying system component upgrades as needed. Creates, implements, and maintains, dashboards, workflows, system setup, and access as needed to support nCino. Ensures design of system allows all components to work properly together. Makes recommendations for future upgrades. Assists IT with maintaining system security and availability to specific users. Analyzes and isolates issues while also troubleshooting problems reported by users. Evaluates and modifies system performance. Identifies end user needs and areas of opportunity for efficiencies and optimization. Maintains integrity of the system. Evaluates and implements new technology and system improvements as needed. Ensures the proper implementation and integration of secure mobile solutions as these technologies mature and are available. Creates and monitors support cases with vendors and also supports lines of businesses. Partners appropriately with other IT departments to address any needs. Ability to write code: Triggers, Apex, JavaScript, code snippets & correct code defects. Industry and Work Experience: 2-4 years of experience in banking information services or equivalent successful experience in a similar controls industry. 2-4 years of experience as a software developer, application administrator or equivalent role. Academic: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field is required. nCino 101 and 201 certifications as well as one additional Salesforce certification preferred.
