Assistant Controller - Manufacturing

Location: Berlin, CT On Site
Compensation: Starting at 88K

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join a manufacturing company that values accuracy and efficiency in its financial operations. In this role, you will assist the Controller in managing the day-to-day accounting functions and play a key part in supporting financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes as the Assistant Controller, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports in your role as Assistant Controller.
• Conduct cost analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights to improve operations as the Assistant Controller.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems and strong Excel skills.
