Description:

I&C Technician position is responsible for carrying out planned or unplanned maintenance and repair activities for all the Facilities on a wide range of electrical equipment, process control, and/or safety systems.
Perform preventative maintenance as driven by the work management system and provide quality detail and feedback to work completed and discovered. Plan work in collaboration with the Integrated Asset Planner (IAP) and I&C Lead. coordinate with and oversee contractors.
Have a good understanding of operational instrumentation and electrical safety concepts and techniques. Enjoy diagnosing equipment breakdowns and participating in Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations while monitoring, maintaining, and repairing automation, instrumentation, and electrical system. Equipment includes, but not limited to, gas & oil treating and water injection facilities including large electric-driven compressors, heater treaters and stabilizers, TEG dehydration units, water injection pumps, separation, LACT skids, and product tankage.

Promote and lead in the implementation of policies and procedures, including Safety, health, environment, process, people and planning
â Monitor, maintain, and repair automation, instrumentation, and control system
â Capable of performing manlift operations.
â Respond to equipment breakdowns and participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations to determine root cause.
â Perform preventative maintenance as driven by the work management system and provide quality detail and feedback to work completed and discovered.
â Provide oversite of contractor work, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
â Work with engineering to evaluate maintenance program performance and pursue predictive maintenance analytics.
â Seek knowledge in and encourage the use of innovative technology to further optimize facilities' availability and reliability.
â Monitor, maintain, and repair process control systems for a gas & oil treating and water injection facilities including large electric-driven compressors, heater treaters and stabilizers, TEG dehydration units, water injection pumps, separation, LACT skids, and product tankage.
â Experience working in Emerson Delta V control system
â Oil and Gas Custody transfer metering and proving systems including quality bank

Formal Requirements
â Required: educational background normally acquired through a High School degree or GED or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Experience/Requirements
â Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in the oil and gas experience is required.
â Preference for someone who certified, licensed, or has completed an apprentice program or equivalent.
â Experience with work management systems (SAP, Maximo, or similar)
â Proficiency with mechanical equipment and automation/instrumentation systems
â Valid state motor vehicle license to operate mobile equipment to move machinery.
â Willing and able to work a 12-hour day/night shift with a 2/2 weeks on/off rotational schedule on the North Slope of Alaska
â Currently reside in, able to relocate to, or willing to commute to Anchorage, AK without company assistance
â Willing and able to independently lift/carry and otherwise work with items weighing upwards of 50 pounds on a frequent basis
â Willing and able to work in a variety of postures and positions throughout the work period to include supine, kneeling, squatting, bending and crawling, as well as working in tight confines
â Willing and able to independently transition to and from the ground without the aid of a stationary object for support and sustain prolonged periods of standing and walking on hard surfaces as well as steel grating, snow, ice and mud
â Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to routinely climb stairs and ladders to extended heights
â Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work at extremes of heat and cold, in high noise areas and with dust and fumes
â Willing and able, to help other facility and field techs when they need help.
â Able to successfully pass a fit for duty assessment.
