Position Type: Transportation/Route Bus Driver Date Posted: 9/27/2021 Location: Transportation Department Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Position: Bus Driver Duties: Serve as a member of the District's transportation team; provide students with safe and efficient transportation to and from school so they can fully benefit from the learning opportunities available through the District's instructional program; provide transportation for students and staff on field trips, out-of-school activities, and/or athletic trips as may be assigned; work cooperatively with District and building-level personnel on busing issues to ensure an effective, quality transportation program Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required Demonstrated aptitude for and competence in operation of a school bus, both for a regular route and for school activities Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Wyoming CDL class B, with passenger, air brake, and school bus endorsements. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with members of the transportation team, parents, students, and other District staff Ability to meet the requirements outlined in the District's Activity/Route Bus Driver's Handbook Willingness to abide by all District guidelines for bus drivers/transportation and to adapt to specific or new working situations Salary: District Support Services Wage Schedule (Base=$17.25/hour) Employment Term: Up to four and one-half (4.75) hours per day for route assignment plus assigned activity trips during school year - 175 days for school year Beginning Date: ASAP Closing Date: Until filled Park County School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in admission or access to, or treatment of employment in, its educational programs or activities.
