Job description

Position background?

  • The individual will work with two additional office staff members reporting to the COBRA department manager.

  • The individual will assist with a variety of office tasks and miscellaneous projects as assigned for the UMR COBRA Administration team.

    Responsibilities:

  • Return mail processing.

  • Assist with running and submitting daily COBRA reporting.

  • Scan and index mail correspondence to work at home staff members.

  • Process payments with third party affiliates.

  • Reviewing daily print letters and pulling letters from the mail room upon request.

  • Assisting the Rate Renewal Team with administrative and clerical functions.

    What does the ideal candidate background look like: -

  • The ideal candidate should have at least one year of relative work experience in an office setting, have at least one year of work experience in the healthcare industry.

    Required skills/attributes: -

  • Must have a reliable source of transportation, must report to an in-office location, the ability to multitask, organized, has effective communication skill, a fast learner, reliable, trustworthy, and professional.

    Preferred skills/attributes: -

  • Ability to type over 80WPM, ability to operate a computer and navigate multiple computer applications, knowledgeable in using MS Word, MS Excel, an MS Access, ability to operate and utilize dual computer monitors.
