  • A typical workweek at Skyward is 15-20 hours per week, between Monday and Friday. We will work around your school schedule, with minimum 2-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. During winter break and summer break a typical workday at Skyward is Monday - Friday of 8 hours per day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Job Description

Job Title: Transport Driver

Department: Facilities

Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office

Starting Salary: $35.00 per hour / Driving Time

$17.50 per hour / Non-Driving Time

Skyward is currently seeking a Transport Driver to join our Facilities department.

The Transport Driver is responsible for transporting employees in a safe and timely manner to the identified destination. The Transport Driver may have to work nights and weekends on occasion to accomplish their duties or stay overnight depending on the destination. This position has a fluctuating schedule that will vary from month to month based upon our travel needs.

What you will do:
  • Transport employees to and from destinations with a Skyward vehicle.
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule.
  • Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
  • Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.
  • Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
  • Always interact with others professionally.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always in good working order, fueled and ready for use.
  • Submit vehicle documentation details as routinely required (i.e. Mileage records, maintenance report )
  • Accurately track time worked.

What it takes:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable, includes initial driving record check and routinely thereafter.
  • A CDL is preferred.
  • Use of personal device is necessary for communication.
  • Coming to Skyward Corporate as needed for required trainings.
