Position Title: Production Craftsman

Wage: $21.50/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours: 4:00PM - 2:30AM (Monday - Thursday), 12:00PM - 5:00PM (Every Other Friday)

Production Craftsman Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain clean, safe working environment and ensures participation in safety programs and required trainings

- Safeguard company property while maintaining acceptable level of productivity

- Read work orders and perform work as assigned by management team

- Attach appropriate labels, documents, tags to products and/or packages

- Maintain production pace, while meeting daily production goals

- Prepare surfaces of stained products prior to staining

- Load and unload automated paint lines

- Install glass panels into door panels

- Hand-apply custom stains to door panels and entrance system parts

- Use a shop management workflow software, including hand-held scanners, to facilitate the electronic movement of work orders, inventory, and other production critical parts through the production process

Requirements for Production Craftsman:

- High school diploma or equivalent or combination of education and experience

- Experience with hand wiped stain is a plus

- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds

- Ability to stand, walk, bend and twist throughout shift

- Ability to work 10 hour shifts minimum

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Ability to communicate effectively, define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions with all levels of the organization and team

- Ability to apply an artistic talent and touch to hand wiping stain on door system parts

- Ability to read paperwork, interpret instruction and exercise good judgment

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

- Ability to analyze and solve problems
