Nurse Manager - Hospital, Emergency Department

Monday - Friday, Days.

Marshfield Medical Center - Minocqua is a medical campus that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to residents in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. We provide emergency services, outpatient care, inpatient and outpatient surgeries including minimally invasive options, birth services, imaging services, laboratory, physical and occupational therapy, and pharmacy.

The Nurse Manager-Hospital coordinates, directs and manages the twenty-four-hour delivery of optimal patient care within an assigned area of a Marshfield Clinic Health Systems hospital. This role is responsible for the recruitment and retention of the frontline patient care staff and for guiding and leading our nurses to provide the best patient care services in accordance with the organizational goals and initiatives. This role interactively works with physician and allied provider staff on their unit(s) with the goal of best patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Requires:
Associate degree in nursing with contingency of successful completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing within three years of hire; BSN at time of hire is preferred.
Three years of experience in acute care or related healthcare experience and one year experience in leadership role; three years of leadership experience is preferred.
Current Applicable State Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association
