About the role:
This Software Engineer III role is primarily be focused on tool ecosystem called TORO, used by business partners in our Managed Investments business line. Prior experience related industries of Investments, Accounting and/or Finance is an asset!

Managed Investments brings in about 40% of the company's revenue - a $300 billion portfolio! We use a complicated set up of systems that talk to each other with a combination of legacy and new systems/applications.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Recommend efficiencies to current established development and continuous integration practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolves technical issues that may arise during the development and deployment of software projects.
- Conduct thorough code evaluation to ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices.
- Develop an evolving understanding of system-wide architectural challenges.
- Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes within the team.
- May take on a mentoring role and provide guidance and support to junior technical talent.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices.
- Intermediate proficiency required with specific technical requirements/platforms : SAS (Statistical Analysis System), Informatica, Webfocus, SQL (Structured Query Language) and Unix Shell Scripting .
- Preferred (nice to have): Snowflake/DBT, Python, Gitlab, Control-M.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, design and best practices.
- Evolving analytical and critical thinking skills.
Compensation Range:
Pay Range - Start:
$90,930.00
Pay Range - End:
$168,870.00
