Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Ultrasound Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and be proficient in performing ultrasound examinations. The candidate will play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions through the use of ultrasound technology. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

Duties
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric scans.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and provide insights on patient conditions.
Maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures and patient information in accordance with medical terminology standards.
Stay updated on advancements in sonography practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications
Degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Strong knowledge of medicine, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic radiology.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and sonography practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
