Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical construction projects, from initial concept to final completion.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, VDC (BIM) designers, schedulers, field foremen, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Material & Subcontractor Management: Efficiently manage material orders, subcontracting, billing, and handling of RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
  • Fabrication Oversight: Direct fabrication shop work packages, including detail drawing reviews, material take-off, buyout, and managing the fabrication budget.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Collaborate with the Safety Department to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Problem Solving & Planning: Proactively plan, resolve issues, and ensure all contractual conditions are met, while working with senior project managers and the team for mentorship and training.

Your Qualifications:


  • Experience: 5 years of project management experience in mechanical construction, with a strong background in estimating and managing diverse projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related experience.
  • Project Diversity: Demonstrated experience managing various project types, including higher education, government, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects.
  • Estimation Skills: Proficiency in estimating project costs, reviewing plans and specifications, researching materials, reading blueprints, and preparing proposals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about current industry trends and standards.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Ability: Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records of project estimates and documentation.
