LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a talented Paralegal/Legal Assistant for Wills, Trusts, and Estates to join our client's dynamic team at a prestigious law firm in Milwaukee. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and handle diverse legal matters, from estate planning to probate administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Build strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and support.

  • Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning agreements.

  • Case Management: Organize and manage case files, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.

  • Financial Analysis: Assist with financial calculations, tax returns, and accounting tasks.

  • Court Filings: Prepare and file court documents, including probate petitions, accountings, and tax returns.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a busy US law firm, focusing on wills, trusts, and estates.

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred but not required. Paralegal certificate is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), legal software, and research databases.

  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Competitive Compensation: Salary range of $50,000 - $70,000, depending on experience.
Flexible Work Arrangements: While this position requires working full-time onsite in Milwaukee, there is an opportunity for hybrid work arrangements after successful onboarding.
