Role Description:
This is a great role with anyone who is a self-solver and brings a can do attitude to any challenge. This role is good for any new to tech or with a few years in tech that wishes to diversify their experience. In this role, you will look at how technologies can be used for various scales for small, medium and large size businesses. We will focus on using publii to quickly create static websites to deploy.

Key Responsibilities:
Regularly meet with lead to understand internship learning goals and learn to use Publii or Astro Web Builders (google for more info - easy to quickly learn using youtube)
Practice doing tasks offline and on-time between sessions to practice and become an expert in building good websites
Research unknowns proactively using easy online searches like google, Publii forums, YouTube, Reddit, stockoverflow, stackexchange, free AI tools and more (now that you know, you should learn it and say you can do it!)

Basic Qualifications:
Interest in building aesthetically pleasing websites
Have your own computer to collaborate online
Self starter who knows how to manage own schedule
Can manage work on own time, must make calls when requested and work actively to timeline
Familiar with basic tools like Microsoft office
Ability to receive well considered and constructive criticism
Ability to research and self-learn between sessions to self-solve

Beneficial Experience (this is completely optional - NONE of this is required, just good types of experience)
Familiar with git technologies so you can manage your Publii code changes with others at the same time
Familiar with Publii, Wordpress, Grav and other technologies
Pursuing or already have a related certificate / degree; technical skills are a plus
Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing
Strong communication skills and detail oriented
Experience in technology and IT services industry
An eye for aesthetically-pleasing color schemes, fonts and shapes
Excellent organizational, presentation and writing skills
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
Able to multi-task and effectively manage several tasks at once

This internship will last for a period of about 6 months and does not provide any compensation. The internship will provide you the opportunity to adopt some of the leading technologies to learn how to build high fidelity websites. Top performers will be eligible to conversion to full-time opportunity after 6 month period, based on performance.

P.S. You can quickly learn to set up a publii site on your own and play around with it within 2-3 days and then quickly apply for this position with a sample site to show! This is a great way to stand out and quickly get selected for this role.
