Role Overview: Under the guidance of the IT Solution Delivery Manager, the Application Architect III will provide architectural oversight for new and enhanced software products. This position is crucial for managing technical debt and ensuring robust .NET architecture. The role requires extensive experience and judgment to achieve organizational goals and may involve leading and directing the work of other team members. The position is based at the Hill Farms State Office Building, with a requirement for in-person attendance according to DFI's guidelines. Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee .NET architecture for new and existing software projects. Manage and reduce technical debt within the application portfolio. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide architectural guidance and direction to development teams. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices. Participate in change management processes and decision-making. Possibly lead and direct the work of other IT professionals. Required Skills (6+ Years Experience in Majority) .NET Architecture Technical Debt Management .NET Web Development Nice to Have Skills (Preferred to Have Experience in Multiple) Internet Information Services (IIS) Administration SQL Server DBA Business Analysis Project Management Professional communication and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
